Description
The first issue of the new Dragonlance Chronicles licensed series, “Dragons of Autumn Twilight “. Dragonlance is a series of fantasy books created by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman in 1984, under the Dungeons & Dragons universe. Several trilogies of this saga have been written by its creators and by other writers. In this new coin we offer you a representation of the first book of the first trilogy written by its creators, Dragonlance Chronicles.
The reverse shows a representation of the main six heroes Tanis, Caramon, Sturm, Tasselhof, Goldmoon and Flint fighting for their lives against the black dragon Onyx to rescue Raistlin from his clutches, in the ruins of Xak Tsaroth. An epic scene full of dynamism and colour, and full of ultra-high relief details.
The obverse depicts Loren Soth, aka Knight of the Black Rose, who commands an army of undead under the command of Kitiara Uth Matar, traitorous friend of the heroes of the Lance and one of the main commanders of Takishis, the Queen of Darkness. There is also the Dungeons & Dragons, Dragonlance logo, the Public Seal of Niue.
